Momente vom Tag des Sturms
Als es Donnerstag so stürmisch war, gab es wunderschöne Lichtmomente.
Die Sonne schien, es schüttete, und dann gabs einen doppelten Regenbogen :-)
Noch leuchtet alles in der Sonne, auch der verblühte Wasserdost.
Dann gings los mit dem Regen und der Sonne.
Ein doppelter Regenbogen. der kräftiger war, als ich ihn hier zeigen kann. Hach…..
Hell und dunkel lagen nah beieinander an diesem Tag. Die Regenwolken zogen weiter und es wurde wieder Licht.
Das bescherte noch ein paar schöne Tropfenmomente.
Ein Birkenherz zum Schluß.
Thursday we had stormy weather. The sun was shining and at the same time it was raining. A beautiful light! Afterwards there was a wonderful double rainbow :-) Darkness and light lay close together on this day. When the rain clouds had gone, there were some nice drop-moments.

So schön. Der behaarte, gewundene Stengel im Gegenlicht… der sieht beinah schon lebendig aus. Sein Vorfahre war bestimmt ein Drache.

Oh, „regen“ is rain! I was pretty sure about Sonne. ;-) You do this kind of photography so well, Almuth – the strong, angled light, the backlighting, the dramatic small scenes. And it seems to me that you are often looking up, which is a good thing. ;-) I love this kind of weather – fast changes! Spring and Fall are good times for it. A double rainbow, wonderful! The first photo of the storm clouds, with the narrow band of bright sky under the clouds – that could have been taken here, except the silhouette of the trees would look a little different since most of our trees are evergreen, which makes the treeline more jagged. „Darkness and light lay close together on this day.“ I really like that, it’s poetic. :-)

Regen and Sonne – don’t worry, I have some interesting misunderstandings in English too 😁Thank you, Lynn. Yes, these fast changes are fantastic, often a bit dramatic, right. I am always astonished when sun and rain come together at the same time. The light is even more beautiful then. I just love love love this autumn light and the colors are stronger now than in springtime, when there is most of all fresh green – which is wonderful too after wintertime, but the autum light…🙂

Right, when it’s raining in one place and sunny „just over there“ I always get excited and start looking for rainbows. The light is fantastic at those times. Autumn light and colors, yes, pretty damn wonderful. :-)

Die erste Aufnahme mag ich ganz besonders. Das sanfte Leuchten in der dezenten Farbigkeit, das Zusammenspiel gebogener und gerader Linien. Sehr, sehr schön!
