Die Farben von Bäumen und Schilf am Ufer, die Wasserspiegelungen in der Morgensonne sind geradezu warm. Alles was sich im Schatten befand, war noch vom Frost verziert.
Im letzten Beitrag habe ich das gefrorene Laub gezeigt, nicht weniger schön das gefrorene Grün am Wegesrand. Bei Bild drei und vier frage ich mich, wie kam der Grashalm durch das Schilfblatt???
Ich wollte noch ein paar Gräser fotografisch einfangen, aber die Ergebnisse waren nicht so, wie gehofft. Die farbliche Umkehrung fand ich dann wieder interessant.
Letzte Impressionen vom Kanal und Umgebung. Den Bildern sieht man die Temperatur nicht an :-) Schilfblätter bilden manchmal symbolhafte Zeichen…

Noch ein letzter Blick in den Garten. Haselblätter leuchteten in der Morgensonne,
ebenso die Birke. Beide habe ich durch das Fenster fotografiert.

Last impressions of the canal. Colors of trees, reed and water were warm, everything else in the shadow was still covered with frost. I tried to photograph some weed or grass and I wasn’t satisfied with it. I did some processing on the computer and changed the colors. At the canal are always a lot of gulls and ducks and swans and goose. Often they are fun to watch. This time I captured only a few gulls.
A funny coincidence: a frozen leaf from reed was perforated by a little tiny blade of grass – how did it do that??? Astonishing :-)

Das war eigentlich Zufall: mein Handy stellt sich ab 22 Uhr auf SchwarzWeiß um (so eine Art Nachtmodus) und aus Spaß habe ich das mal zum Bildergucken gelassen – ALLE Bilder wirken so außergewöhnlich gut!

Yes, I see that little blade of grass piercing the reed – crazy! I see things like that regularly, in all seasons. It’s really fun to witness these odd happenings and to wonder about how they came about.
You described some things as being still frosty in the shade and other things in the sun – I remember that – it doesn’t happen here very often because we don’t have frost too often and when we have frost overnight, we might not have sun the next day. So I’m glad you reminded me of that.
With the color changes, I like the second one better.
It’s fun to see the gull. We were watching a crime drama that takes place in Amsterdam and there were coots in the canals in the background. That brought back nice memories. Your final photo with the sunlight shooting into the picture, is very nice. I’m glad you’re getting out and bringing the beauty back inside! :-)

It is astonishing for me that you have so less days with frost so far in the north. At least you had some not too long ago when I think of your frost leaves in your current post :-) – Yes, these funny things are great! I am sure you have a lot like that especially on the coast?

Yes, there was one morning with frost on the ground…and I’m sure we’ll have more but temperatures here are affected by the Pacific Ocean – there’s water from the ocean all around us. The Pacific stays relatively warm in the winter. I see leaves pierced by tiny twigs and things like that pretty often, here on the island. Partly it might be because the foliage is so dense – things are always falling and there’s always stuff in the way. ;-)

Happy findings :-) We have a smiliar climate at the North Sea, where the gulf river from Mexiko warmes the coast in winter time. But the climate is not so harsh like yours!

Die Positiv-Negativ Bilder sind wunderbar! Aber ich mag eh diese frostige Grünkunst, die die Natur zaubert.

Ich finde beides schön, aber das Grün erinnert doch noch mal an immerwährendes (Pflanzen-)Leben, an Frühling, an hoffnungsvolles.

Der Grashalm kam wohl durch, weil da vorher jemand gefressen hatte.
Gestern rief mich ein Kamerad verstört an, daß er 2 lange schwarze Hare im Bad, das er gerade zuvor geputztr hatte, fand. Seine Frau ist gerade in den USA.
Ich sagte ihm, daß sich wohl irgendwo von der Höhe Haare der abwesenden Frau gelöst hätten…

Schöne Frostbilder. Ich freue mich jedes Jahr auf diese gefrorenen Straßenrandschönheiten. Die Gräer gefallen mir sowohl original wie umgekehrt. Beides hat seinen Reiz. Das vom Grashalm durchbohrte Schilfgras muss man erstmal sehen. Wo ein Wille, da ein Weg. Sehr schöner Zufallsfund.

Ja, witzig oder? Da kann man sich lange Geschichten ausdenken, wie das wohl zustande kam :-) Frost ist mit das Schönste am Winter. Wenn dann noch die Sonne scheint, hach!

Geht mir auch so. Wir haben seit vielen Tagen „nur“ immer wieder Schnee und trübe Tage. Aber es gibt Momente mit leichtem Schneetreiben wo schon das Rausgucken einfach nur schön ist.

Irgendwie lustig, überall Schnee, nur nicht hier. Naja, „überall“. Im Süden und ganz im Norden. Scharf drauf bin ich noch nicht, obwohl es eigentlich kalt genug ist, aber wir liegen meist knapp drüber. Schneetreiben hat ja was ruhiges, fast meditatives. Das kann ich mir gut vorstellen, daß das Freude macht :-) Besonders, wenn man aus der warmen Stube rausguckt :-)
